MM has not yet released a standalone ARIA Player installer for the updated version, but hopefully they will, so that people who bought Garritan libraries but haven’t got F27 can benefit from the update. There’s now a VST3 with multi-channel output – the previous VST3 plug-in only having one stereo output. This means that ARIA can be added to the list of VSTs that will run native on Dorico 4. You may not be aware that the latest version of Finale is now Apple Silicon-native and that includes the ARIA Player too. This post is for anyone who isn’t using the latest version of Finale but does use Garritan libraries and the ARIA Player with Dorico on an M1 Mac! (Yes, all of you!)
